Getting Results: Developing Safe and Healthy Kids is a collection of publications and services designed to help California school districts use research-based strategies in designing and implementng their alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention programs, as well as their youth violence prevention programs. Getting Results accomplished this by engaging both leading researchers and practitioners in critically examining current research findings and their implications for schools.
The Getting Results project is part of a comprehensive prevention effort from the Safe and Healthy Kids Program Office at the California Department of Education (CDE), developed by Health & Education Communication Consultants.
